Thanksgiving

We had another wonderful Thanksgiving at our dear Aunt Kathy's cabin in Huntsville.

The food was phenomenal as always.

After the meal we visited, played games, and relaxed.

Then we had pie! We never have enough room right after the main meal.

This is one of the first pumpkin pies I've ever made.

We have a quote by Jeffrey R. Holland hanging in our home that says,

"Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don't come until heaven: but for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come."

 
This is so true. We have had to wait for many of our blessings over the years and then there have been other times that the blessings just seem to be spilling down on our heads! But in each instance Jesus Christ and his gospel has been our anchor. We are so grateful for him and his comforting and enabling Atonement. We are grateful for our amazing families and our two beautiful, healthy daughters and the life we share together.
