Our big girl:
Olivia--Oh, for Sacrament?
Dad--No, he's going to be on TV.
Olivia--[gasp] That be a great idea, Dad!
- has an amazing sense of direction and has for about a year. She knows when we're driving past the library, doctors office, store, etc. She knows where our van is parked in a lot full of vehicles and she recognizes our house from down the street.
- makes connections really well and remembers things forever. She even recognized one of my scouts at the swimming pool after her lesson. And it's not like he was wearing his scout uniform at the pool.
- loves to cuddle.
- has all 20 of her teeth now! It took so long to get them all in and we better enjoy them because they'll be on their way out before we know it.
- has a small dimple at the corner of her mouth that occasionally appears when she smiles. You don't always see it and when you do you feel like she's letting you in on a little secret.
- figured out how to pedal her trike this summer.
- is getting bigger. And taller. She wears size 8 shoes and 3T clothes and is about 30 lbs give or take.
- loves to dip her food and has made some interesting combinations: blueberry muffin in hummus, apples in ketchup, celery in strawberry yogurt. But hey, don't knock it till you try it.
- is a little social bug and adults and kids like being around her.
- loves to help and is good at it.
- She is always telling us the sounds that different things make (e.g. car goes vroom). Richard cleared his throat and Olivia said, "Daddy go, hmm hmm?"
- She wanted to go to the store on Sunday and we told her that we don't go shopping on Sunday and that it would make Heavenly Father sad. She was irritated and after thinking for a second she said, "Come on!"
- When addressing the whole family she says, "Hey us!"
- "Shirt down Ellie. Be mobest"
- "Oh it's rainy o day? A brella?" Always the problem-solver.
- Praying..."please bless me."
- "Mom, Anna says BLAST OFF (Kristoff)!"
- Looking at the pictures in her blue Book of Mormon, "Nephi, Lehi, Elsa, Anna."
- We taught her to say, 'Come on, son!' from Psyche and it is so funny when she does.
- "When I get bigger I go a temple." (This one makes me glad)
