15 Months
Olivia has waved to people all across Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington! We went on a
trip to visit my parents on their mission and these are a few tricks she picked up along the way:
- "Ow-is" (Alice) is what she has been calling me. I thought I was just hearing things at first, but no, she often yells my real name throughout the house when she's looking for me, just like her Dad does (which is how we figure she learned it).
- After spending so much time with my parents and sister, she has learned to say their names, too. Pop, Nan, Date (Kate). When she woke up from one of her naps on our trip, she called for me. When I didn't come right away she went through all the other names she knows, hoping that someone would come get her.
- We also visited my friend, Lynette, who is living in Seattle. She taught Olivia how to push on her cheeks and make raspberries. It's pretty cute! She learned Lynette's name, too, in a just a few days (Net).
- Sometimes when we're feeding her from our hand, she pretends to pick up food and put it in her mouth and chew. Who knew pretending could start at such a young age?
- Olivia makes quite a bit of racket sometimes when she is going down for a nap and my Dad mentioned one time that it sounded like she was yodeling herself to sleep. I can totally hear that now!
- 5 teeth this month.
- Tons more walking!

Olivia's pig tails are so cute!
