Our big boy is ONE!
Alvin. . .
Alvin. . .
- is cruising along furniture, cupboards, walls and any person standing still long enough for him to pull up on, which then traps them in place.
- pulls things out of drawers, plugs out of the wall, things off tables and rearranges our shoes for us.
- can open the baby gate! Not good.
- keeps practicing his facial expressions and is so expressive with his language, too.
- has the cutest belly laugh I've ever heard.
- plugs his nose and talks nasally (so funny).
- knows he's funny and tries to tease and make us laugh all the time. His new thing is trying to scare me while I'm changing his diaper. He'll straighten his body real fast, yell and then freeze. He got me so good the other day, little stinker!
- is easing out of wanting to be held just by mom and dad. Which is such a relief! Date nights here we come!
- has yet to sleep thru the night consistently.
- has 6 teeth (The last one just popped out earlier this week and there's at least one more on the way).
- eats like a champ!
- is 29 1/4" long and weighs 20 lbs.
- is becoming very interested in books.
- likes to carry a small toy around in his hand while he crawls. You can easily hear him coming as he bangs the toy into the wood floor when his hand comes down.
- loves to knock down block towers. The girls build them up and call him over to destroy them and then they all laugh.
- has a special and very different relationship with each of his sisters. Olivia likes to rough house with him and they do a lot of giggling. Eloise brings him toys and they snuggle on her blanket together. Both of the girls love to get down on all fours and play chase with him around the house. Hearing them laugh together is the best sound in the world and never gets old!
- is such a snugly, talkative, curious, happy little guy and adds so much joy to our family.
