Sledding
The girls have been anxiously awaiting some snow. With or without it, they took matters into their own hands and hit the hills with the sleds while we were doing some fall cleanup.
They soon found it takes a lot more effort to go sledding without snow.
Then it finally happened!
And we got plenty to go around.
We were even able to build a snowman. Sometimes our snow is so powdery it doesn't pack well. So we were happy that it worked this time.
He's looking very French, I think.
Alvin was napping during our last snow escapade so while Daddy was home for the break, we went sledding at the park as a whole family.
All bundled and ready to sled!
You can't see it, but he's wearing two hats, two pair of socks and socks shoved in the toe of his boots so they'll fit and bags over his hands. He was roasty-toasty the whole time. The I-can't-put-my-arms-down look on his face doesn't convey the fact that he loved every minute of it!
