Butterfingers

Here's a fun, easy recipe that I've been wanting to try for over a year now. Candy corn can be hard to come by after Halloween, though and I just barely missed out on them last year. But baby, oh baby, these were delightful!

Only 3 ingredients. . .
Candy Corn                  Dipping Chocolate                   Peanut Butter

Step 1:
Melt 1 lb. candy corn in microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. Continue to microwave for 15 sec. intervals, stirring after each interval, until completely melted.
Step 2:
Add 1 lb. peanut butter and mix together. The candy corn cools quickly and becomes stiff so you may need to microwave again to keep it nice and smooth.
Step 3:
Spread mixture evenly in an 8X8 pan lined with parchment or wax paper. Cool completely in the refrigerator.

Step 4:
Cut into squares.
Step 5:
Melt 1 lb. dipping chocolate according to package directions.

Step 6:
Dip bars in chocolate candy coating and lay on wax paper to set up.
