Hollow Tree: The name fits, I think.

After exploring Stanley Park we left Vancouver and headed to Langley. On the way we stopped in Surrey for a long awaited rendezvous with an old friend from Richard's mission... 

Pan-de-sal!!!

AKA Filipino sweet bread...which is to die for! You could actually smell the sweetness walking up to the market where they are sold. And get this--we got them fresh, hot out of the oven. We couldn't wait and had to try them when we got back to the car. I have to say they are everything Richard said they would be, and more. They were warm and chewy and so so soft!

And that ladies and gentlemen, is true happiness!
