Mission Impossible: The BIG 3-O

Richard turned 30 on Sunday. That's huge! I mean, look at that number, it's really big! Ha! Seriously though, it's a milestone of a birthday and I wanted to make it special for him. He's not into jumping off bridges or flying to Vegas or anything quite so spontaneous but he is into movies. I put together a series of 'Mission Impossible' challenges centered around the events in his life. And here's how it went...

What's your guess?
The answer to the riddle led us to the Brigham City Community Hospital where Richard was born.
Foothill Elementary

The message in the maze told him to text his elementary school mission statement
to me to receive his next assignment which was this...

Richard ran track and cross country in high school.

This is pretty good time, considering he hasn't ran since High School :)

Next, using this map from Richard's mission as a clue, we headed to Logan.

Richard worked at Macey's grocery store after his mission, while attending USU.
We went there next and bought the items found in the word search for our picnic lunch.

Then we headed to Utah State!
Take me to the quad and play Frisbee with me.
It was HOT out on the quad so we only tossed the Frisbee around for a little while,
but it sure was fun!

Nice catch, O!
Go Aggies!
The next clue was written backwards and needed to be read with a mirror or other reflective surface.
It said, "Reflect on your past to decode this message: I scream, you scream, we all scream for bull tracks, lemon custard and Oreo fudge ice cream!" In other words, Aggie ice cream!!!

He had to play Wheel of Fortune to figure out our next location.

The Logan Temple

A crossword puzzle led us to...

...the Logan Regional Hospital where Olivia was born.

We had dinner at Cafe Sabor to celebrate!

Mission Impossible: 1-3

We sure love that Hubby and Daddy of ours, even if he is getting kinda old ;) Happy Birthday, Richard!
