Movie in the Yard

Ever been to a movie in the park? We love going and have wanted to be able to do it in our own yard. We inherited an old projector screen from the elementary school Richard worked at years ago and we've been holding on to it for the very purpose of watching movies in our backyard. And we finally got it all set up and borrowed a projector and we were set.

There was some down time before it got dark enough to start the movie. Olivia has been trying to figure out this pedaling business all summer. Here she is pushing her knee down with her hand to get herself going. After a lot of practice she got it! And she's gotten really good the last few days.

Daddy's still trying to figure it out so Olivia pushed him for awhile.

We had to eat dinner first. Somebody loves her helmet.

Some more S'mores. We've had more s'mores and hot dogs this summer than I think we've had my whole adult life.

And then it was time to get out the redvines and pop some popcorn.

The movie of choice: CINDERELLA
