Puppets

We saw in the paper that the Fine Arts Center was putting on a puppet show in the park and thought it would be fun for the girls.

Other than the puppet show itself, which was really cute, they had puppets to play with and materials to make our own spoon puppets.

They turned out pretty cute. I made the little lamb for Livi and Richard made the elephant for Ellie. Neither of us had done anything creative for so long and it felt really good even if it was just a spoon puppet.

A few days later Olivia was still talking about the puppet show and I wanted to keep her/my creativity going. We found a box in the garage, an old gift bag and got out the markers and spent the afternoon making our own puppet stage and scenery.

Weeks later, we're still playing with it!
