3 Years Old

Eloise is a one-of-a-kind, smart, hilarious, thoughtful little girl and we feel so privileged to be her parents!

She likes asking questions and making sense of things.
It is not uncommon to see her carry toys and odds and ends in baskets and bags. She also loads up as many things as she can fit in her arms and then is pretty helpless doing anything else because she won't put them down.
She makes collections of the things mentioned above and also loves to collect rocks, sticks and pine cones. We still have piles of them in the car and on the front porch.
Her blankie is another appendage of her self and her thumb is usually in her mouth.
Olivia was taking turns doing staring contests with everyone at the table and talking about how you win and lose. Eloise joins in, "I know, I know. This is the Eloise contest. If you're Eloise you win. If you blink, you lose."
Ever the comedian, she loves to make people laugh and usually does so just by making a face.
She is really into pretending and enjoys making up songs.
She is such a great little and big sister! She is patient with Olivia's bossing but is feisty enough to fight back when she needs to and is such a gentle and loving little mom to Alvin.
