Rainy Day Activity

 We've had a lot of rainy days this spring. This particular day started out cold and rainy and I knew we were going to need something to occupy our time inside. 

We were eating breakfast and the back of the cereal box was all about our solar system and space exploration. The girls were really interested in it and Olivia started singing a planet song she learned on Cat in the Hat. All of this inspired me to have the girls make a solar system of their own.

We recently won some glow in the dark stars at the arcade and have wanted to put them in the girl's room so we decided that this was a good place to display their solar system, too. Fun times!
