10 Months
It's been an exciting month for Olivia where she's learned lots of new tricks. She can...
- pull up and walk along the couch and other furniture. She likes to stand in front of the TV, just like Lucky from 101 Dalmatians.
- eat finger foods.
- click and babble with her tongue.
- say a new sound, 'Nnnn-a,' and I think we can use this to our advantage and start teaching her Granny and Grandma.
- say a variation of the sound above when we say Amen after a prayer.
- carry her toys with her. We gave her one of Richard's old dead cell phones and she LOVES it! She drags it around with her everywhere she goes, texting, probably.
- sign 'more' and nod her head for 'yes' and shake her head for 'no'.
- sit and stay interested while we read a book.
- crawl!!!!! She did it for the first time at our family photo shoot and crawled right off the picnic blanket! Yes, we did get pictures and our faces show our genuine surprise!
- Her hair is getting a lot longer, especially in back and on top and is getting somewhat darker.
- I was all prepared to mention how we had been seeing tooth buds forming and the beginning of teeth popping through, but that's old news! Because now she has a full-fledged TOOTH! And I think another is on it's way.
- We're in the I'll-only-go-to-Mom phase, which makes it hard to leave her with a babysitter. But we're going to keep trying because it will get better.
- She's really changing! We don't see a baby when we look at her anymore. Toddlerhood, here we come!

We sure love her!
