Love the Lord and thy Neighbor

Richard gave a wonderful talk in church today. His topic was centered on the scripture found in Matthew 22: 35-40 "...on these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." The two commandments being to love God and to love thy neighbor. He also read the scripture found in D&C 42:22 "Thou shalt love thy wife with all thy heart, and shalt cleave unto her and none else." As always, he did a great job, even if he did make me cry when he talked about us. But I'll get him back when I eventually have to speak.

We also brought Olivia to church for the first time. We've been taking turns going to Sacrament Meeting for the past six weeks so it was fun to finally be there together as a family.

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
