Students at Discover Elementary love going to Speech. 

And who wouldn't when you've got Mr. Lemon for a teacher!

Each school year Mr. Lemon likes to mix it up and do a new theme to get the kids excited. Everything from the classroom rules and incentives to the decorations on the wall goes along with this theme. Other years he's done cars, camping, sports, etc. 

But this year's super hero theme is by far the coolest!

Normally he enlists my help to make the room look "cute" but this year he put it all together on his own. He's got lemon super heroes all over the walls, and he even brought in some of his old action figures from when he was a kid.

Let me just say I have one creative husband! He looked at pictures of the original super hero characters on the internet and then adapted them into these fantastic lemon super heroes. 

And folks, he drew them all by hand!
